A decision-first cadence for high-ambiguity teams

A team does not need another status meeting when the underlying decision is unclear. Start with one sentence: what decision must be better by the end of this cycle?

Then identify the smallest evidence that can change it. Assign one owner. Set a short check-in around the evidence, not around activity. At the review, choose: continue, change the test, commit, or stop.

This cadence works because it turns uncertainty into a queue of decisions. It also makes stopping legitimate. Work that no longer changes a decision should not survive just because effort has already been spent.
